Newsletter Winter 25/26

Dear AU Dolphins Team Members, Partners, and Supporters,

We are excited to share several important updates that mark a new chapter for the AU Dolphins Racing Team. Since our first competition in Switzerland last summer, the team has undergone significant changes, and we have been building a strong foundation - financially, technically, and organizationally - and we are now ready to move forward with renewed momentum.

The team held its annual recruitment event this fall, where we gained many new members for our electrical departments. We are now a team of +50 students, and we have been lucky to recruit some very handy students from the Operations and Maintenance Engineering program as well. Our business and marketing department has grown, and marketing has been working hard on a "Meet The Team" video series you can watch on our Instagram and TikTok.

Welcoming our new sponsors!

We are proud to announce that the team has secured new sponsors who believe in our vision and potential.

Their support, whether it be materialistic or financially, strengthens our ability to innovate, compete, and grow as a student-led racing team. We are grateful for their trust and look forward to building long-term mutually beneficial partnerships. Thank you to all our sponsors for believing in our project and the dream from classroom to racetrack.

New leadership

To support our growth, we have restructured our internal departments to improve coordination, accountability, and technical efficiency. As part of this process, we are pleased to introduce:

New Team Lead: Line Anine Boi
Responsible for overall direction and coordination

New Electric Lead: Jacob L. K. Madsen
Responsible for coordinating our electrical departments

New Mech. Lead: Daniel Aggerholm
Responsible for coordinating our mechanical departments

Team restructuring

This new leadership structure is designed to empower team members, streamline decision-making, and ensure that every department can operate at its best. This is why we have restructured our departments into:

Mechanical

Electrical

Business

Marketing

Bodywork

  • Aerodynamics

Accumulator

Chassis

Low Voltage

Driver Interface

Powertrain

Suspension

New funding secured!

We have been lucky enough to be selected by Tuborg Fondet once again, giving us greater financial stability and flexibility.

Alongside C.A.C. Fonden and money granted by Aarhus University, these funds will be directed toward critical technical development, team operations, and competition preparation - bringing us closer to our primary goal: getting a fully running car on track.

Plan for the future

Our main objective for the upcoming semester is clear and ambitious: to get a fully running car. To achieve this, the team will focus on:

  • Finalizing core technical systems

  • Improving cross-department collaboration

  • Establishing realistic development milestones

  • Ensuring consistent testing and validation

We know that it is ambitious, but in this industry, you need to believe in your own ability. With stronger funding, clear leadership, and a committed team, we are committed to our goal.

These developments mark an important turning point for AU Dolphins Racing Team. We are building not just a car, but a sustainable, competitive, and collaborative team culture. Thank you to everyone—team members, sponsors, and supporters—who continue to make this journey possible.

We look forward to an exciting and productive semester ahead.

Warm regards,
AU Dolphins Racing Team
